Director of Sales and Business Development

Are you a consummate, experienced professional ready to lead our Sales and Business Development department, to take over a mix of existing accounts and to pursue new clients, business opportunities and sales territories? You might be the ONE! 

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated professional with proven managerial experience, an outstanding track record in sales and a compelling sales personality. Adamant drive for success and an unstoppable determination to excell in his role are a must. In addition to being an excellent communicator you will also demonstrate exceptional negotiation and leadership skills. Deep understanding of the sales process dynamics, superb interpersonal skills and previous successfull experience in a leading sales role are expected. A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is required. 

Duties:
  • Overseeing the activities and performance of your sales team
  • Tracking sales goals
  • Setting individual sales targets
  • Facilitating the ongoing sales people training
  • Motivating the sales team
  • Designing strategic sales plans
  • Assessing costs and competition
  • Creating sales presentations and product demonstrations
  • Negotiating contracts with potential clients
  • In coordination with our marketing department working on leads generation

Responsibilities:

  • Meeting the company annual sales targets within assigned regions and accounts
  • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones
  • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients
  • Design and implement strategic plans to reach sales targets
  • Cultivate lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty
  • Develop and promote weekly, monthly and quarterly sales objectives
  • Work with customers to better understand their business needs and goals
  • Estimate sales volume and profit for current and new products
  • Establish a sales training program to train new employees
  • Generating leads
  • Meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports
  • Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs
  • Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services
  • Maintaining client records
  • Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices and availability.
  • Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue and expense controls
  • Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary
  • Coordinating with marketing on lead generation
  • Promoting the organization and products
  • Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products

Requirements:

  • Experience in sales, business development, marketing or related fields
  • Strong communication skills and IT fluency
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, 
  • Be proactive, self-motivated
  • Ability to handle uncertainty
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of sales & marketing techniques and best practices
  • Understanding of the sales process dynamics
  • Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, economics or related field
  • Commitment to excellent customer service
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers
  • Ability to work comfortably in a fast paced environment
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies
  • Experience in customer relationship management
  • Experience managing and leading a sales team
  • Ability to travel
  • Drivers license
  • Location EMEA

The candidate’s ability to generate and win new business for Streamstar is of utmost importance and will be evaluated accordingly.
